Pre-Columbian. Jalisco, ancient Mexico, c. 300 BC - 300 AD. A lovely bichrome pottery bowl in cream ground with red wall. Geometric painted designs in black on one half of the bowl, with solid red wall on the other. Size 4 1/2" W x 2" H. Minor old chip to rim, otherwise intact with mineral deposits and wear throughout. ex-old Pasadena, California estate collection, formed in the 1960's and 1970's.
