A fantastic European steel armor breastplate, dating from the 1600s. Thick and heavy hammered steel with original black surface (uncleaned), the inside a bit rusty, typically with two pegs at top and musket-ball dent in body, illustrating the moment in history when old armor came up against modern weaponry!
