Product Description
Luristan, ancient Persia, c. 1200–800 BC. A fine bronze arrowhead, long and leaf-shaped in form, with shallow mid-rib and complete tang. Nicely preserved and intact, with dark coppery patina and light earthen and mineral deposits. Average length 3 1/4". Similar examples can be found in the collection of Axel Guttmann, the most famous collector of ancient militaria in the modern era, actually creating his own museum in Berlin.
