Ancient Celtic bronze warrior figurine, c. 2nd–1st century BC. A bronze statue of a horseman, his right arm upraised which once held a weapon, his left arm once went forward as if holding the horse's reins. A lovely piece with great green patina and nice detail. His horse unfortunately lost in antiquity. Beautifully preserved. Found near the Danube River in Eastern Europe. H: 2 inches. Ex Los Angeles, CA antiquities collection.
