Product Description
A very large and fine Native American stone notched spear-point, Archaic/Woodland period, circa 4000–1500 B.P. A "Casterville" type point, with long, wide head and slightly flared tang (stem). One side with an inked 2-line tag marking location of discovery, "Lake Gxxx" (indistinguishable); the other with the number "253". Measures 3" x 1 3/4", and mounted in an archival magnetic frame (frame measures 5.125” x 5.125”). Ex Piepenbrok collection, Vinita, OK.
