Struck in Tarentum, this excellent silver Didrachm features a nude youth on horseback standing right, crowning the horse with his right hand, reins in left; inscription ΦIΛI/APXOΣ below, ΣA behind / Reverse depicts Taras astride a dolphin facing left, holding a bunch of wine grapes in outstretched right hand; inscription TAPAΣ / AΓA.
