A beautiful antique German flintlock pistol made circa 1800-1830, converted to percussion shortly thereafter. A quality example with carved hardwood stock, the steel mounts and percussion lock well-finished and fitted. The wood is heavily engraved with intricate designs, and embellished with decorative steel mounts and flourishes. Well worn but with excellent eye appeal! Hammer cocks but does not snap and is difficult to disengage. With custom metal stand. Overall length 13 inches. Ex Cheyenne, Wyoming private collection.
