Holy Land, Old Testament period. Bronze Age, c. 2000 – 1200 BC. A nice terracotta juglet from the Holy Land. With tapered body, flattened bottom, flared mouth and loop handle. Measures 3"H x 3"W. Intact, with only minor chips. Nice color, with earthen and mineral deposits. Ex New York City private collection acquired on The New York art market in the 1990's.Accompanied by a hand-signed certificate of authenticity which includes all the details, culture, dating, motifs/inscriptions when applicable, historical relevance, and provenance.
