The obverse features a profile portrait of Miss Liberty wearing a cap, flora, and a crown with the word “LIBERTY”.

The reverse Features a bald eagle clutching an olive branch in its right claw representing peace, and in its left claw are three arrows symbolizing the nation’s ability to defend itself. The Eagle is surrounded by "United States of America," "One Dollar," and "In God We Trust.".
