Do these fit true to size or do they run smaller/bigger?

These run true to size. A proper sheepskin slipper fit to start out with is tight as the skin stretches and wool pushes down. 1/2 sizes should go down to the size before, i.e. 9 1/2 would go to 9. Full sizes should take the size that they are.
